Yahoo! Widget Engine will allow you to run certain utilities named "Widget" such as clock alarms, calculators, programmed tasks, a simple image visualiser and other services such as going public or knowing the weather wherever you are.

The application may be integrated to Yahoo! which gives us the option of using it to check the mail, using the instant message system and using its searcher.
