AVG Anti-Virus Definitions is an update file for well-known antivirus AVG firms.

This small component will update AVG virus names, so it can detect and delete the latest virus releases entering (or trying to do so) the PC, either from Internet or removable units, such as CDs, USB memories, etc.

It is worth pointing out that AVG Anti-Virus Definitions corresponds to the latest update released by AVG database and that it does NOT include older definitions. In order to solve this, you must update on new AVG Anti-Virus Definitions releases or update the firm database directly from AVG.
