This small plugin for AIMP audio player allows you to show in Windows Live Messenger the song you are currently playing.

You just have to mover ‘gen_irc.dll’ component to AIMP plug-ins directory and activate the “Now playing” option from Windows Live Messenger.

Now all your contacts will see your music preferences while you are chatting without having to use native Windows player, which Windows Live Messenger uses for defect to employ this feature.
